picture viewer hangs

For some reason, I now cannot open pictures in Picture Viewer. It opens, but nothing shows up. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

That doesn't sound good. Some questions: - Does this happen with all photos or only with specific ones\types - Is there an error message? - Does it actually hang or does it just not display anything?

I have the same problem, I think. The program doesn't hang or anything - it just shows a blank white where the picture should be (or more commenly a screwed-up picture of whatever window is open behind the Viewer). If I go into the Slideshow view the pictures show up fine. Happens with both JPG and GIF. I assume it's an incomaptibility with my video card?
